Born and raised in Oglesby, IL. Mindy began sketching as a child. She was enriched  through studies of both science and animals. As her watercolors display belief that the human body is inspiring, she invites the viewer into her perspective by stating, ”I love the human body and how light plays off of it, although what fascinates me and captures my attention are the hands.”  Artists that compel this vision by enriching her perspective include Michelangelo and William-Adolphe Bouguereau.
